Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

I’m really proud to be representing Siemens Congleton as we support the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity and their MediCinema Appeal. As part of our fundraising efforts, up to 50 of our Manchester & Congleton colleagues will be running the Great Manchester Run on 31st May 2026 — and I’ll be taking on the half marathon distance.

The MediCinema Appeal means a lot — it will create a fully accessible 50 seat cinema for patients and families facing long and difficult hospital stays. Being able to offer them a moment of comfort, escape, and normality feels incredibly important, and I’m honoured to play even a small part in making that happen.

As for the run… yes, I do run a lot and have done this distance plenty of times before — and yes, I still get nervous! I’ll be pushing to beat my previous times, even if I find myself asking (as usual), “Why am I doing this again?”

But the answer is simple: because this cause is truly worth it. I’ll be giving it everything I’ve got.
