On 27th September 2026, Nancy and I will be taking part in the Robin Hood Mini Marathon to raise money for Home-Start Nottingham.

As a mum myself, I know that parenting can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be challenging at times. Home-Start Nottingham supports families who may be struggling with isolation, mental health challenges, illness, bereavement, financial pressures, or simply feeling overwhelmed. Through the support of their amazing volunteers, they help parents build confidence, reduce loneliness, and create happier home lives for their children.

This charity is especially close to my heart because I volunteer with Home-Start every week. I’ve seen first-hand the difference that a listening ear, practical support, and a little kindness can make to a family going through a difficult time.

Nancy and I are excited to take on this challenge together, and we’d love to raise as much as possible to support the incredible work Home-Start does in our local community.
