Story
I’m proud to announce that I will be taking on the 26.2 miles in support of Sue Ryder, an incredible charity that provides compassionate care and support for people facing the end of their life or living with grief.
I’m running in memory of David Brown, my partner George’s wonderful grandfather. David was an incredible man, who meant so much to so many people. During his final days, the Sue Ryder team at Leckhampton in Cheltenham were a lifeline. Their expert care, warmth and compassion were invaluable and gave our family comfort in the darkest of times. We are still so thankful for everything they did for him and for us.
Sue Ryder believes that everyone approaching the end of life or coping with grief should have access to the support they need and with Sue Ryder no one has to face death or grief alone. They are there when it matters most. By donating, you’re helping to ensure that more families get the care and support they need when it is needed the most.
Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can give.
