Story

Through the partnership with BRI Emergency Department, Dharura has trained a team of 14 simulation facilitators who are running simulations for students and hospital staff in Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kenya as well as in surrounding rural clinics.

Our Nanyuki team has been invited to give a talk and take part in a panel discussion at the SIMPACT simulation conference in Nairobi this year. This is an amazing opportunity for the facilitators to network with like-minded people in the region, to share their achievements in setting up a simulation program and to learn from other projects and programs.

As well as supporting their regular activities and development, we would like as many facilitators as possible to attend the conference so that they can represent their team and learn together.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Any contribution would go a long way to help build capacity for these dedicated facilitators. It could also allow them to attend the conference to acknowledge their hard work, passion for simulation and medical education and allow them to showcase their project.

We would like to raise £100 per facilitator to support their development and to cover costs to allow them to attend the SIMPACT conference.

Thank you!
