This year marks a very special anniversary - 5 years since my life saving stem cell transplant and being cancer free. I couldn’t be more grateful to my donor and to Anthony Nolan for finding them and facilitating the whole process. To top the year off I’m also turning 50 in April so thought what better way to celebrate these 2 milestones than taking part in this iconic event. It’s been quite some time since I’ve run this far and a lot has happened over that time but I can’t wait for the challenge and to soak up the atmosphere on race day. I really am counting my blessings at having the opportunity to take part! 🫶🏻
