Our lovely school, Tipton St John is the heart of the village. It is an old school and we are nationally famous for flooding! We have been fundraising for our school, particularly for outdoor equipment. We held a school sponsored running event around our local fields. I am the Preschool and Reception teacher and have done a number of challenging long runs to fundraise. I recently ran 65 miles in 24 hours in various fancy dress costumes around a five mile loop. I came 9th woman and 30th out of 226 overall. My next challenge is a self navigation coastal marathon on the 27th September. Next year, in my 57th year, I plan to run 100 miles in 36 hours at Hope36. This is the last time this fundraiser is being posted as we need the money so final chance to support our wonderful school, thank you!
