I am raising money for thr Alzheimer's Society in memory of my dad. Dad was my hero and when he got dementia in 2018 I was devastated. I saw my dad disappearing in front of my eyes, I was going to say slowly but it was not. By August 2019, dad was committed under the mental health act for dementia into a care home, by May 2020 he has lost his fight.

So I (along with my hubby, and 2 great mates) will be climbing Ben Nevis, scafell pike and snowdonia (over a few days, I'm getting on a bit now so can't do the 3 peaks challenge) to help rase awareness and money for the Alzheimer's Society so that in the future we can maybe stop someone else losing their loved ones to dementia.
