London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025

Naomi Zainuddin is raising money for Diabetes UK

London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025 · 15 June 2025 ·

The London to Brighton bike ride is a 54 mile ride from Clapham Common in South London to the seaside town of Brighton. Join 14,000 riders pedalling their way through the idyllic English countryside to raise money for people affected by diabetes.

Story

As many as 4.9 million people are living with diabetes in the UK right now, and my dad's one of them. Dad also happens to live in Brighton while I am based in London, and this year's London to Brighton bike ride takes place on Father's Day, so it seemed like a no-brainer to give it a go and raise money for Diabetes UK.

A big thank you to Clive and Rob for dragging me out to train, otherwise I would be trying to do this with 0 prep. I'm just hoping to finish before it gets dark, and I fully intend on walking up the hills and freewheeling down.

Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. Its a fight that involves all of us sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. So let's get behind them!
