Story

stem4 is the UK's leading digital mental health charity for children and young people.

Every step we run, we help a young person take theirs.

We're a team of health care professionals and friends taking on the Bacchus 10k on 13/9/26 to raise money for stem4 - the UK's leading digital mental health charity for children and young people.

Youth Mental Health Day 2026 falls just days after our run, and this year's theme is Build Future You - all about empowering young people to shape positive futures through small steps, strong support, and better mental health.

We're running - and walking - because we believe every young person deserves access to the tools and support they need to feel confident, resilient, and hopeful about their future. Every step we take is about raising awareness, starting conversations, and helping more young people build a future they feel good about.

The distance feels meaningful to us too. On average, young people with mental health difficulties go around 10 years before their struggles are recognised and they get the help they need. 10km. 10 years. Every kilometre we cover represents a year too many spent without support.

Every penny we raise goes directly towards giving more young people access to stem4's digital tools and early intervention resources - because the future isn't something that just happens to you. It's something you build.

Whether you want to run it, walk it, or simply cheer us on with a donation - we'd love your support. And if you'd like to join our team, you'd be very welcome.
