Story
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
As we reach the last ten nights of Ramadan, many of us are reflecting on the blessings Allah (SWT) has given us - our homes, our families, and the opportunity to seek forgiveness and draw closer to Him.
During this blessed time, I wanted to share a cause that is close to our hearts.
In Bangladesh, many children are still forced into child labour, often working long hours instead of being able to attend school. Organisations like the UK Bangladesh Education Trust work with communities to help these children access basic education, literacy, and life skills, giving them a pathway away from hazardous work and towards a better future.
Some of the ways support can help include:
- £5 - teaching materials for children
- £10 - healthcare support for a child
- £20 - books for a child or support for families working towards financial stability
- £50 - contributing towards a teacher’s salary
- £150 - helping support a girl’s education for a year
If anyone would like to learn more about the work they do, you can read here:

May Allah accept all of our prayers and good deeds in these blessed nights, and bring ease and opportunity to those who are struggling.
Jazak’Allah Khair.
