Story
EVERY 27 SECONDS, SOMEONE IS DIAGNOSED WITH BLOOD CANCER.
Here in the UK, that’s 10,000 people a year, and the most common cancer diagnosed in children.
For this reason, I'm running The Great Manchester Run for Cure Leukaemia.
Cure Leukaemia is a national charity dedicated to funding pioneering clinical trials, working towards a future where leukaemia is cured.
These clinical trials have already saved the lives of both adults and children living with blood cancer.
Alongside driving this vital research, the team provides support to patients and their families, while also focusing on education and raising awareness of the disease.
Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.
