FOR KAL
Next April, I will be running the Norfolk Marathon in memory of my close friend Kalan Barratt. Back in May, Kal tragically passed away and his absence continues to be strongly felt by many across the Cromer and wider community. So this marathon is a small tribute to him to serve as a reminder of the positive impact he had on so many people's lives.
The money raised will be donated to the East Anglian Air Ambulance to support the incredible work they do on a daily basis.
ABOUT THE AIR AMBULANCE
As I'm sure most of you will be aware, the East Anglian Air Ambulance is a charity providing a helicopter emergency medical service for the people of East Anglia providing life-saving critical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by air and road.
This challenge will certainly take me outside my comfort zone and I'm sure Kal will be looking down and laughing at my expense.
