Nat's fundraiser for The Matt Hampson Foundation

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
In April, I will be running the London Marathon in support of The Matt Hampson Foundation. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to play a variety of sports and know how important sport can be in shaping lives and supporting wellbeing. However, as with anything, there are risks that can end up changing people’s lives forever.
While working at various charity events, I had the privilege of seeing the incredible work the Foundation does to support those who have experienced life-changing injuries through sport. The Foundation’s centre opened in 2018 and is the brainchild of founder and former England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005 leaving him paralysed from the neck down, aged just 20.
By becoming part of the community that Matt has created, beneficiaries of the Foundation are able to draw on the experience and knowledge of people who have been on the same journey. They develop the tools and skills they need to move on as they start to rebuild their lives.
Any support you can provide—whether through donations or simply sharing my page—will go a long way in helping the foundation continue their life-changing work.
