Story
Natacha is embarking on an incredible journey to take part in the 1-2-3 Peak Challenge trek on 5 September 2026, all in support of The Malawi Projects. This cause is close to her heart as it empowers the young women in Malawi to build a brighter future through education.
In September 2023 Natacha was diagnosed with breast cancer. A diagnosis like that changes you as a person and completely changes your outlook on life. During one of the hardest times in her life, she received so much help, kindness and support from others, and it made her realise how important it is to give something back.
Natacha's cousin’s husband, Loughlinn and his friend Brian set up The Malawi Projects over 10 years ago. Last October, Natacha had the opportunity to travel to Malawi alongside Loughlinn, Brian and Niamh to see the work being done with previous fundraisers and what else was needed to raise funds for.
Natacha says "seeing the reality of everyday life there, was something I will never forget. It made me realise just how fortunate we are and how easily we can take the simplest things for granted — clean water, food, education and opportunities that many people in Malawi simply don’t have".
Natacha came home knowing that she wanted to continue to help. She said "I was fortunate to have people support me when I needed it most through my breast cancer journey, and now I want to give something back and hopefully make even a small difference to the lives of others". ❤️
Your generous contribution, no matter the size, will bring me closer to the target of £350.00 and fuel the impact of The Malawi Projects. Together, we can climb mountains—not just physical ones but the barriers that hold people back from reaching their full potential. Thank you for being part of this inspiring journey.
Natacha ❤️
