I'm doing a 10km midsummer twilight walk to raise vital funds for the Maggie's Centre at Manchester.

Maggie's offers support, community and guidance for patients diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. A welcome home for those feeling lost after receiving news that will affect the rest of their lives, offering support and activities for short or long-term, friendly faces from those who understand and a calm place to sit away from the clinical setting of The Christie hospital.

It costs money to keep the doors open at Maggie's and ensure qualified staff are available to let patients and their carers know they are not alone and help is at hand. Please sponsor me and help keep this essential centre open and able to support many more people.
