I am excited to share my journey with you as I prepare for a personal challenge at the WCF - Manchester on October 5, 2025. I am raising funds for Camp Jojo, a remarkable charity founded by individuals who understand the joys and challenges of parenting children with complex needs and disabilities. Their vision is to provide magical outdoor camping experiences that foster a sense of belonging and create life-enhancing opportunities for these children and their families.

Camp Jojo makes what seems impossible possible. They offer fully accessible camping experiences, allowing families to connect with others who truly understand their situation. The support they provide—physical, emotional, and practical—ensures that camping becomes not just feasible but a relaxing getaway for families who might otherwise struggle to find respite.

As I step out of my comfort zone to take on this challenge, I feel grateful for the incredible memories and experiences Camp Jojo has given not only to families but also to volunteers like myself. This will be my second year volunteering with them, and each summer brings me joy as I contribute to their mission. Recently, I returned from an amazing experience in August where I was part of the catering team that nourishes everyone at camp. Last year, I had the privilege of being a family support volunteer and leading activities that brought smiles to many faces. Both camp sites are truly magical places where unforgettable moments are created.
