An update from us 19/03/25 -
Since publishing this page, Ash has received the diagnosis of Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis.
He’s taken it all in his stride like an absolute legend! We now await next steps on medication and moving forward. 💪
We appreciate everyone’s love and support so much x

On 13 July 2025, I will be taking part in the Saucony London 10k run to raise money for MS-UK! God help me, I have only ever done 5k and even that is a struggle 😁
MS is an autoimmune disease that we have been learning a lot about the last few months and feel passionate about supporting.
Back in late 2023 Ash began experiencing “attacks” which at times were quite frightening. We had no idea what was going on. The feelings he went through ranged from chest pain, to numbness down the side of the face and jaw, to tremors, sharp pains in the head, pins and needles, to name a few.
Over the last 15 months he’s had many tests, many waits and many times of being brushed off and told it was all ‘anxiety and panic attacks’. Brain MRI results have since shown multiple lesions and the next step is a lumbar puncture which we hope will be in the next few months. Diagnosis could take some time, we are unsure of exactly how long it will take. But we finally feel like we’re on the path potentially to diagnosis and there fore getting the right treatment.
This is our way of doing something to help a charity that has been really supportive. Regardless of the outcome - as we still don’t know for sure, having now learnt so much about MS, it would make us proud to raise some funds for a fantastic charity and give back.
Every pound makes a difference or even 50p. It all adds up! If you are able to give a little we would be ever grateful. The more we can get MS-UK out there, the most support can be given to those struggling and the more research can be put into treatment and helping people change their lives.
Thank you 🙏 xxx
