Story
My husband Russell was diagnosed with a Stage 4 GBM (Glioblastoma Multiforme) at the end of October 2020 and unfortunately lost his battle 17 weeks later.
I have grown my hair over the past 12 months and its time to get the chop!!!
I will be donating my hair to the ponytail project who use donated hair to make wigs so that those impacted by cancer. Over the past few years we have had many family members and friends face their own cancer battle who have lost their hair in the process. Hopefully this will help others.
I also wanted to use this opportunity to raise some money for the Brain Tumour Alliance Australia (BTAA).
BTAA is organisation run by volunteers and provides support to those diagnosed with any form of Brain Tumour and their families. Everything from how to apply to financial help, what to expect on the journey. the latest research, medical professionals and clinical treatment trials.
If you could spare a couple of dollars to support BTAA and the work that they do, that would be fabulous.
