“ FREEZE YOUR BITS AND BOBS OFF” Sponsored Bra and Pants Walk in aid of Breast Cancer Now and PROSTaid Sunday 11th January 2026 at 10am Strut Your Stuff through Bradgate Park – 3 miles approx. OPEN TO ALL

Story

Join me for the 'Freeze Your Bits and Bobs Off' Sponsored Bra and Pants Walk in aid of Breast Cancer Now and PROSTaid on Sunday, 11th January 2026 at 10am. Together, we will strut our stuff through the beautiful Bradgate Park, covering approximately 3 miles. This event is not just a walk; it’s a chance to make a difference as I step into the New Year with purpose!

Reflecting on the past year, it has been a challenging journey filled with unexpected trials. I faced significant health issues, including a plural effusion, a chest drain, and a central line. Which resulted in me enduring ten weeks of hemodialysis. Just as that came to an end I received the news that I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time—at the same time as my potential live kidney donor was being worked up for a kidney donation surgery so I could have a kidney transplant.

The combination of battling breast cancer alongside dialysis has been incredibly complex and stressful. However, I am determined to turn this last year around and give back to those who have supported me through this charity that has helped me. I invite you to join me in this important cause. Your support can help raise awareness and funds for vital research and support services that make a real difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer and prostate issues.
