On 10th April 2025, my beautiful soulmate cat, Autumn, was tragically hit by a car and killed. She was only 18 months old. Losing her shattered me in ways I can't articulate. Autumn was pure magic—loving, mischievous, gentle, and full of personality. She brought warmth into every corner of my life, and I will carry her in my heart forever.

I rescued Autumn when she was just 16 weeks old through Cats Protection, and because they gave me the gift of her, it means everything to me to raise money in her memory. I want to help other cats like her find safety, love, and a chance at the life she deserved.

After a major knee operation in 2019, I truly believed I’d never run again. But here I am—starting from scratch, pushing past fear and doubt—training to take on the Great North Run in September 2026. It’s a huge challenge, one I’m taking on for Autumn, and for every cat who needs a second chance.
