Help Us Give Back to Ronald McDonald House Charities
I’m organising a charity fundraising event through our college hairdressing departments in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities—a cause that means more to me than I can fully put into words.
My daughter, Esme, was born with Hirschsprung’s disease, and since then, our family has spent a significant amount of time in hospital. Those moments are some of the hardest any parent can face. During that time, Ronald McDonald House Charities were there for us. They gave us somewhere to stay, close to our daughter, when we needed it most. They gave us comfort, support, and a sense of normality in the middle of uncertainty.
Even now, they continue to support us whenever hospital stays are needed.
Because of this, giving back to this incredible charity isn’t just important to me—it’s something I feel deeply passionate about. I’ve seen first-hand the difference they make, not just for my family, but for so many others going through incredibly difficult times.
Through this fundraiser, we’re bringing together students and communities across Eastbourne, Lewes, and Hastings to raise as much money as we can using the skills we are developing in hair, beauty, and wellbeing.

💛 Why This Matters
This is more than just a fundraiser.
It’s about giving back to the people who were there when my family needed it most. It’s about helping other families stay close to their children during the most frightening times of their lives. And it’s about turning our skills into something meaningful that can truly make a difference.
I’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve already received—it means everything. If you’re able to donate, share, or support in any way, it would mean so much to me and to all the families who rely on this incredible charity.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story
