This week she asked me if she could run her next race for a charity that she feels a connection with.

A little girl in Beatrice’s class was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma 5 years ago when she was just 2 years old! Chemotherapy didn’t work, and it returned.

Annika has been through so much in the last 5 years, the most recent being an operation in September to remove a lesion from her skull. Annika is on preventative medication until a cure is found, and for research to continue there needs to be finances.

Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) are experts in childhood cancers, this charity is now partnered with ‘Annika’s Challenge’ so family and friends can raise money to help this lovely little girl lead a full life and thrive the way every little girl deserves.
