Story
I want to spend the next few years raising as much as I can for local charities so I’m starting here.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 2,083 call outs in 2024 alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.
Myself and my dad (Ted) are trekking 13 miles climbing Cleveland’s 4 peaks in the dark. This will be a challenge especially as I’m not good on my feet in the light these days! But it’s all worth it for this amazing charity. Please help us raise as much money as we can. They save hundreds of peoples lives, they bring dignity to those who don’t survive, they battle through all kinds of weather and respond to calls at all kinds of hours. They’re local and they need as much support as they can get. Forever grateful to charities like the GNAAS as we never know if one day someone close to us will need them.
