Story
I am trekking 50km across the Sahara in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care in Bury St Edmunds. I am totally inspired by the patients and families at the hospice as well as all my colleagues, who work tirelessly to support families and individuals. The care and compassion shown in every team is humbling.
I've been fortunate have been part of some very special moments - so when this challenge came up I just had to jump right in.
It costs around £9.5 million a year to run our Hospice services. That’s equivalent to £26,000 per day. Even with statutory funding support, we face a daily shortfall of £18,000. This gap must be filled through fundraising, retail, legacies, and other income sources.
Because of friends and family like you we will be able to help close this gap.
Thanks for your support.
