On Sunday 1st June 2025, I’ll be taking to the skies at Henstridge Aerodrome, Templecombe - not in the cabin, but on top of the plane!
I’ll be Wing Walking at speeds of up to 120mph for 10 whole minutes, all to raise money for the amazing local children’s charity Amelia’s Rainbow.
This has been a nerve-racking dream of mine, and as a truly special gift, it’s been fully paid for by Tom, Jack & Rosie. This means every single penny raised will go directly to Amelia’s Rainbow - none of it will go towards the cost of the Wing Walk.
🌈 About Amelia’s Rainbow
Amelia’s Rainbow is a Dorset-based charity that supports over 170 local children living with disabilities, serious, chronic, or terminal illnesses—challenges that have a significant impact on their day-to-day lives.
The charity was set up by my dear friends Karl and Chantel Cox, after the heart breaking loss of their daughter Amelia to an aggressive form of childhood cancer in 2010.
Their mission is simple but powerful: to help children and their families have fun and make joyful memories through unimaginably tough times. Whether it's a family day out, a special trip, help with leisure activities, or items that enhance fun and learning, Amelia’s Rainbow brings light when it’s needed most.
