At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I am absolutely honoured to be running the Hackney Half Marathon with the Alzheimer’s Society on Sunday 18th May, to help those suffering with dementia and their families navigate life with this devastating illness.

My wonderful, kind, caring Nanny has been diagnosed with dementia, and whilst it’s still in the early stages, the changes we have already seen are heartbreaking.

But with a little sparkle still in her eyes and a loving, supportive family around her, Nanny is trooping on through the good days and bad days and is a total inspiration!✨

The Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future💙

Any donations, large or small, will mean so much to me, my wonderful family, and my beautiful Nanny, and will hopefully contribute to helping as many people and families as possible, live with dementia.

This one’s for you Nanny!🤍

Thank you so much,

Natalie x
