I have chosen to take part in 10YFan 2026 to raise much needed funds for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, the official charity of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

I am doing this crazy challenge to raise money for PROP our charity on the Neuro Rehab unit in Cardiff, which raises vital funds to improve the experience for patients who have suffered acquired brain injury. It pays for our amazing music therapist, our beautiful garden, Rubicon (disability dance) and so much more! I see every day the impact it has on improving patients and families lives during what can be a very difficult and distressing time. Patients often spend an extended time in the unit completing their rehabilitation and family can be travelling a long way, as patients can come from across the south Wales region.

I’ve run half marathons and climbed the Welsh 3 peaks for prop before but this totally different! It will require a very different mindset! I know I’m stubborn enough to keep going and I won’t let myself give up!!!
