Hello everyone 😊

I just wanted to share with you all my most recent fundraising event that Scottish Huntingtons Association have very kindly let me participate in, I'm running the most iconic London Marathon, which is a dream come true for me especially as I'm entering year 5 of my illness living with Huntingtons Disease and want to take this most amazing opportunity to raise awareness of this very cruel condition that affects people in the prime of their lives.

I have thought long and hard about my ability to manage this due to the limitations I am facing with the illness however have come to the conclusion that this is the ideal opportunity for me to show my fantastically supportive two boy's, grandchild, family and friends that it doesn't matter what life throws at you, it's only your self doubt and procrastination (there has been a lot of that, lol!!) that stop us achieving our hopes and dreams and whilst I'm not going to be smashing out and kind of PB's, it's just the fact that I can be part of such a amazing experience as the London Marathon for Scottish Huntingtons Association whom have been invaluable to my family and me during these difficult times, is worth every fatigue and bad day during these training days and keep me focused till marathon day!!

I'm sooooo excited but definitely feeling the nerves 🤣😊
