Story
Dearest friends and family,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you all know, SSNAP is the charity supporting the neonatal unit at the JR who did so much to help me and Alan when Daisy arrived early. It is a cause so close to my heart.
We are truly blessed to have an 8 year old daughter who is sweet one moment and full of sass the next. Something we never imagined would be possible when we were on the unit.
I am running the Oxford Half Marathon for the third time for SSNAP. I've not been able to volunteer on the unit due to work so wanted to challenge with 13.1 miles of sweat, determination, and (probably) a little bit of crying.
The half marathon is the single biggest source of fundraising for SSNAP, who receive no government grants and are reliant on donations to provide the crucial support for parents in their hour of greatest need.
The money I raise will help support over 1000 babies born premature or sick and their families in Oxfordshire and surrounding counties every year. It will allow the SSNAP team to continue to provide support 7 days a week on the neonatal unit, and will make a difference to the amazing NHS staff that care for them tirelessly.
Please give generously!
Thanks,
Nat xx
