On June 8th, I'll be running the Southend Half Marathon and raising funds to help my son's school buy a new minibus.

The St Christopher School is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, and it relies on its minibuses to help pupils get out into the local community - giving them the chance to learn new skills, gain valuable life experiences, try new things, and have fun.

It’s a wonderful school with devoted, caring teachers and amazing pupils.

Over the seven years Jake has been there, it’s made a huge difference in his life.

If you're able to spare a few pounds, it would be hugely appreciated - and will also help keep me going on what's bound to be a hot June race day!
