Story
Many of you will have links to Garden House Hospice and will know someone who has received their care and support. The hospice supports people at the most difficult time in their lives, caring not only for patients but also for their families and loved ones.
Alongside their highly experienced doctors and nurses, they provide specialist services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, bereavement support, complementary therapy and spiritual care. It costs £8.5 million every year to provide these vital services. While they receive some NHS funding, they must raise £16,609 every single day through charitable income.
Following recent funding challenges, community support is more important than ever to help them continue delivering this vital care. By running 13.1 miles past some of London’s most iconic landmarks, we’re hoping to raise as much as possible to support this amazing charity. If you’re able to, please consider donating a small amount — even the cost of a coffee would make a real difference.
Every pound truly helps. Thank you so much for supporting us and this wonderful cause. Natalie, & Freya
