Pedalling To Pubs 2027

Natalie Wickham is raising money for Licensed Trade Charity

Pedalling to Pubs 2027 · 20 May 2027

Pedalling to Pubs 2027 is a charity cycle ride set against the backdrop of the Peak District's landscapes, aimed at raising funds and awareness for two important charities: The Licensed Trade Charity and Only a Pavement Away.

Story

In 2027, I’ll be joining 70 riders from across the pub and hospitality industry to take on the breathtaking, but no doubt challenging, landscapes of the Peak District. But this ride is about so much more than cycling — it’s about making a real difference to the lives of people who need it most.

We’ll be raising vital funds for two truly fantastic charities: The Licensed Trade Charity and Only a Pavement Away. Both do incredible work supporting people within our industry who are facing some of life’s toughest challenges, from financial hardship and poverty to homelessness, helping them find hope, support and a brighter future.

Now, if you know me well, you’ll know I absolutely HATE riding up hills — and I have a feeling the Peak District is going to serve up more than its fair share! 😂 There will undoubtedly be moments when my legs are screaming, my lungs are burning, and I’m wondering why on earth I signed up for this!

But whenever the going gets tough, I’ll remind myself why I’m doing it. A few tough climbs are nothing compared to the challenges faced by the people these charities support every single day.

❤️ So, I’m asking you to please get behind me and support this incredible cause. Every single donation, no matter how big or small, will help these amazing charities continue their life-changing work. Together, we can offer hope, create opportunities and help people rebuild their lives.

If you can spare a few pounds to support my ride, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation will give me another reason to keep pedalling when those hills feel impossible!
