Natalie’s Kilimanjaro Climb for St Mark's Hospital Foundation

Natalie Woodward is raising money for St Mark's Hospital Foundation

Nat’s Kili Climb · 6 July 2026

Our charity supports research, education & innovation at St Mark’s, the UK’s national bowel hospital. The projects we support have driven clinical improvements for patients living with complex bowel diseases, and enhanced disease understanding.

Story

Hello loves!

Welcome to my fundraising page! In July of this year (2026) I’m going to be trekking Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for St Mark’s Hospital Foundation and here’s why.

I was referred to the Complex Cancer Clinic at St Marks to have a ‘last chance’ surgery, called Pelvic Exenteration, the only option left for me to get on top of my advanced, complex and recurrent cancer. It was a whopper of an op removing all but one of my pelvic organs, part of my spine, spinal nerves, pelvic bone, a stabilising muscle and has been life changing for me, but has given me back the chance of a future too.

There are no words to explain how much St Marks means to me and there’s nothing that can ever repay them, HOWEVER, I would love to raise as much money as possible so they can continue to help people with complex and rare bowel disease.

I’ll be climbing Kilimanjaro this year to raise as much money as I can and to show what is possible after a stage 4 diagnosis and pelvic exenteration! This is going to be the biggest challenge of my life (apart from cancer of course!) and I would love you to support me!
