Hi all ! 🩷 my name is Natalie, I am only 4 and there is nothing in the whole wide world like the love i have for my doggies 🐶 🐕

I have taken on the March Hike for Huskies challenge at 26.22 miles ! That’s just under a mile a day for my little legs !

My journey with 8 Below Husky Rescue began when I adopted a beautiful husky Zelda . Since then, my family and I have opened our hearts and home to many more furry friends.

We have fostered several dogs, each with their own unique personality and story. From the playful spirit of one pup to the grumpy charm of another, every dog has touched our lives in a special way.

Zelda came to 8 Below in the following condition:

Malnourished, unkept & still having milk from recently having puppies, discarded like she didn’t mean anything… scared

8 Below took care of her and it took her a long time to be home ready- we were offered Zelda at first but there were complications until we received a call several months later about her passing her health tests and whether she would be good in a home with kids!

We knew it was fate!

This is what Zelda looked like after the care of 8 Below- and we will forever be grateful for how they rescued her

As we took in Zelda we start our foster journey

Miss Tia

And now Siren (pup pup)

Me and my daddy have started to run our doggies to make sure they are well cared for and exercised

My daddy has started to be a judge at the dog races

We have even restored an old retired rig to full working condition!

and even in a process of restoring a Van which we recently used to her 8 Below move some huskies in critical condition ❤️

Daddy did a 16 hr drive to Wales to prove transport for 5 dogs in really bad conditions

And recently daddy was on the road for another 5 hours to help move another dog from the same home!

My mummy does the house checks to help out too, anything we can do to help 8 Below

All in the effort to help and make a difference ourselves for these beautiful dogs 🩷🐶

Many huskies are still waiting for their chance at a loving family, and we cannot do this without your help. We are participating in the "Hike for Huskies" event on March 1st, 2026, to raise funds for our rescue efforts.
