Unique Community Charity has almost completely taken over my life the last 5 years so it's only right I really lean into that... Next year I will celebrate my 35th birthday together with all of the beautiful work done by our charity by running my first ever marathon and raising money for more beautiful work!

We always struggle to find the funding that will make shows and events that little bit more extraordinary for our participants - the kind of special that allows them to believe that they are; capable, worthy and deserve brilliant things. This fundraiser is to give people that never thought they could experience that kind of special the chance to.

Depending on how much is raised it might be used for - costumes, sets, bigger theatre spaces. The kind of extras that are hard to justify but make a HUGE difference to a person's perception of the kind of life they are able to access.

It will also be the 25th year since my mum started the charity in its original form so what better time to get fundraising?
