Sadly there is a mismatch between the perception and reality of the lives of young LGBT+ people. The recent shift in sentiment has amplified this gap and young people are suffering. Thankfully the brilliant Just Like Us team work tirelessly to help young people to feel accepted, loved and belonging.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Our vision is a world where all LGBT+ young people are able to thrive. We work with 7,000+ UK schools, supporting them to embed LGBT+ inclusion into their communities. We also directly support LGBT+ young people to find community, feel empowered to lead change, and have the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.
