MND research is at a point where life-saving treatments are potentially on the horizon. And Sheffield is more than ready to be a frontrunner to find the answers. By supporting this research, you'll improve the lives of patients long into the future.

Story

Thank you for visiting Tommy & Harry’s JustGiving page.

On Saturday 22nd April, they will be taking part in the Shone Building Big Walk to support Motor Neurone Disease research at SITraN based at Sheffield University.

Roughly a year ago we found out my wonderful dad had been diagnosed with MND. It’s been a really tough year, but the boys have coped amazingly. Tommy and Harry have now decided they would like to join a group of people raising money on behalf of my dad for MND research. In Tommy‘s words, “we need to help find a cure for MND so other people don’t have to suffer like my grandad“. They would be extremely grateful for any donatoins and your support. Thank you!

MND is a terminal condition. It affects the brain and nerves and is nearly always fatal. In the UK alone, 1 in every 300 people will develop MND in their lifetime. But there's hope. SITraN at The University of Sheffield has world leading MND researchers working tirelessly to find a cure for this debilitating disease.

By making a gift today you will help make a much needed breakthrough in MND come even sooner and you'll improve the lives of MND patients long into the future.
