Story
Hi! I’m Tasha and on the 26th of April I am going to be taking on my biggest challenge yet - running the London Marathon for St John Ambulance. They are a charity who carry out lifesaving work in communities across England, being there for people in their most vulnerable moments.
I am going to be running the London Marathon in memory of my friend who sadly passed away at the age of 16. Our goal was to always run the London Marathon together and we both aspired to become paramedics. I have chosen to run for St John Ambulance because they have given me so much support over the years and it has become my safe space after losing my friend, but it has also massively helped in developing my clinical skills. My background with SJA was extremely beneficial when applying to university to study paramedic science, which I am loving every second of, and the skills I have learnt with St John Ambulance has given me a huge advantage in my learning.
St John Ambulance is England’s leading first aid and health response charity. From helping young people become the healthcare professionals of tomorrow, to world class training, St John Ambulance empowers people of all ages with lifesaving skills and the confidence to use them, every day.
Your donations truly do make a difference and could help to save a life so please support me on my target to £2000 for St John Ambulance. Your support really does mean the world to me.
Thank you :)
