750 CHALLENGE!

Hey guys, thanks for clicking the link! As the title says, I am going to run (and swim) 100k in August. This may surprise some of you, given the only form of intentional exercise I did in July was one 4k- that was it. Suffice to say, this is a big feat...The reason why I jumped (-or, ran) to do this is the opportunity to help raise money and spread awareness about a charity dear to me: Festive.

I've been connected to this charity for three years- during the first, they supported me in sixth form, and the last two years I have been volunteering with them. It's been such a joy seeing the impact this charity has had- so it's a delight to be a part of this fundraiser...

750 -the number of Christian students in Further Education (college/sixth form) that Festive is currently praying for by name, offering one-to-one encouragement, training and resources to boldly live out and share their faith with their friends!

750 -the number of kilometres spanning between our most northernly to our most southernly students!

750 -the number of kilometres our staff and volunteer team will run/walk/swim in August - all to raise funds for a new ‘Student Connection Worker’. Our work has exploded, seeing a 400% increase in the number of students we support individually over the last 3 years, so we need more hands onboard and offer in-person training for students and CU leaders!

If you are able to contribute, you would be a part of equipping Christian students across the UK as we support them in their journey + talking about their faith. I often feel awkward asking for money while fundraising- but this is something close to my heart, so thank you for being here and reading this!
