Natasha's fundraiser for NSPCC

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
I am running the London Marathon 2025 to fundraise for the NSPCC.
“The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse”
Across the UK and Channel Islands, the NSPCC work directly with children and families in national and regional hubs. They also give support to thousands of children and young people who need us through Childline, their Helpline is there for any adult who is concerned about a child. They work with schools up and down the country through the Speak Out Stay Safe Programme, which helps keep children safe from abuse. Also, projects like Together for Childhood support families and transform the way communities come together to prevent abuse and neglect.
£3 pays for our Speak out Stay safe programme to reach 1 primary school child, empowering them to speak out if they're worried about anything.
£4 pays for 1 of our trained volunteer counsellors to answer a child’s call for help to Childline.
£5 covers the cost of answering 1 call to the NSPCC Helpline.
£54 could pay for a Childline supervisor for 2 hours, helping our volunteer counsellors be here for children.
£200 could pay for our volunteer counsellors to answer 50 children's calls for help to Childline.
£540 could pay for a trained practitioner for three days, helping children get back on track following abuse
