Story
The MS Trust is a UK charity which is here to help everyone make sense of MS. They provide support for everyone affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey.
I am thrilled to have been offered a place to run for MS Trust as their mission is very near and dear to my heart. A multiple sclerosis diagnosis can be an incredibly scary time for a family, with so much uncertainty around the diagnostic process, the type of MS, and the outlook for those affected. A diagnosis is just the first step in a lifelong journey of navigating symptoms, fearing relapses, and wondering what life will look like longer term - that's why charities like MS Trust are so invaluable in the services and support they offer.
The MS Trust receive no government or NHS funding, but the services they provide are so valuable, and every penny donated goes some way to helping those living with MS:
£15 could pay for one of our information specialists to provide telephone support to a person with MS.
£100 could cover the cost to provide our Making Sense of MS guide to everybody diagnosed with MS in one week.
£1,800 could pay for a newly-appointed MS specialist nurse to receive foundation training in MS care, through the MS Trusts development module.
Please help me to support the MS Trust, thank you for your donation.
