Story

We are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in honour of Bella — a bright, brave 2.5-year-old who has already faced more than most adults will in a lifetime.

Earlier this year, Bella was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer. What followed was months of hospital stays, treatments, and moments no child — and no parent — should ever have to go through. But through every appointment, every tough day, and every hurdle, Bella showed the world exactly who she is: a fighter with the biggest smile.

Recently, she reached an incredible milestone — she rang the bell to mark the end of her treatment. A moment of huge relief and joy for her family but a reminder of the Strength, Resilience and Courage that children like Bella are forced to find far too early.

We want to celebrate Bella’s strength and support other children and families going through battles they never asked for. Every pound raised will go Oxford Hospital Charity; Your donations, will help fund vital medical research and training as well as essential equipment to provide life changing care within the local hospital.

Donations help transform hospital spaces and provide the little things that make a huge difference to patients, families and staff.

Helen and Izzy who are part of the Oxford Hospitals Charity were Bella’s nurses throughout her treatment on Kamran’s ward and so this charity is extremely close to Bella and her family and other families facing cancer.

Childhood cancer is rare, but when it hits, it turns families’ lives upside down. No child should spend their early years in hospital wards.

No parent should hear words that change their world in a second.

If our challenge can help even one family feel supported, hopeful, or less alone — it’s worth every step.

This one’s for Bella — for her fight, her resilience and her courage.
