Story
We're back! Only this time our challenge bigger than before... FIVE TIMES BIGGER!!!!!
Tash and Emmie are taking on their biggest challenge yet, and yes, over FOUR events.
This time we are covering:
100km swim (yes you read that right)
2 x half-marathons
300km cycle ride
40 mi walk
Totalling a whopping 507km for each of us!!
The why remains the same... Because Pancreatic Cancer is still taking the lives of loved ones and that needs to change.
Tash and Emmie continue to raise money for both Pancreatic Cancer UK to help fund pioneering research into early detection of pancreatic cancer, increasing the chances of surviving the number one most deadliest CURIBLE cancer.
And also raising funds for a local NHS hospital who nursed Tash's wonderful Dad, Musgrove Park Hospital (Love Musgrove).
Here's some more information about these charities:
We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
So thank you to all who have supported us so far and to those who are donating today. You make every step taken, Front crawl stroke, cycle pedal and running strike worth it!
Help use cure Pancreatic Cancer!!
Much love,
Tash and Emmie
