Story
This year I am raising funds for Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, which provides invaluable support to families across Greater Manchester and UK who are caring for a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
The charity's work helps reduce the emotional and practical pressures families face during some of the most challenging times in their lives 🌈
After spending time with some of their incredible support workers and with some of the families using their services, I understand just how important their work is.
What's the challenge?
The Savills Manchester office will be embarking on a lengthy 18 mile walk on Thursday 17th September all the way to Marsden. The walk will take us approx. 5-6 hours to complete, so we are praying for sunshine!
Any donation, big or small, will help Rainbow Trust continue their vital work and make a real difference to families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
Thank you so much for your support, and I will get the blister plasters packed!
More About the Charity
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, for as long as is needed. Rainbow Trust supports the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
