Natasha's and Amanda's fundraiser for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust

Leeds Half Marathon 2025 · 11 May 2025 ·
This May, Natasha and Amanda will be taking on the Leeds Half Marathon to raise money for Addenbrooke’s Hospital, a place that gives hope and life to so many.
We’re running in honour of our colleague Dave Bateson, who was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
Thanks to the pioneering treatments offered by Addenbrooke’s, Dave is now cancer-free and able to enjoy life with his wife and children. We want to say a huge thank you by raising as much money as possible to help others in his situation get the lifesaving treatments they deserve.
A bit about us:
• Natasha… is not a runner at all! This will be her first ever half marathon!
• Amanda is a seasoned runner with multiple half marathons and one marathon under her belt.
• Both of us are visually impaired, so we’ll be running tethered together for each other’s safety (and to stop Natasha from quitting halfway through!) 😆
We know times are tough, but every penny counts. If you can spare even a pound, we’d be hugely grateful. Let’s give more families the gift of time.
As an extra fundraiser, we’ll also be running the Ampthill vs Cancer 5K on the 29th June, organised by Dave himself. We’d love to see as many of you as possible on the start line with us, helping to raise even more money for this fantastic cause! Sign up here and join us:
