Story

On the 26th April, my amazing friend Taff and I, along with our unruly husbands, will be taking on the Adventure Triple Challenge in support of Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. The challenge consists of a 45km cycle, 3.2km paddle and a 17km hike to one of the highest points in the Lake District - the mighty Helvellyn. I know, I'm fully aware we've lost our minds....

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity transforms lives by supporting families facing the unimaginable—caring for a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a serious illness strikes, it turns family life upside down, making every moment together more precious than ever.

That’s where Rainbow Trust steps in. Each family is paired with a dedicated, expert Family Support Worker, who becomes their lifeline—providing both practical help and heartfelt emotional support, whenever and however it’s needed.

This extraordinary charity wraps its arms around the entire family—parents, carers, siblings, grandparents, and, of course, the unwell child—ensuring no one has to face the journey alone. Together, they create space for love, strength, and hope, even in the toughest times.

As a mother, I can't begin to imagine what some of these families go through so please help me support and raise money for this incredible cause. Wish us luck! And thank you for any support.
