Story

The death of someone close can be shattering. Everyone experiences grief differently; there is no normal or right way to grieve. How we react will be influenced by many different things, including our age and personality, our cultural background and religious beliefs, or our previous experiences of bereavement. Most people will cope with help from family and friends, but for those who need additional support or specialist help, Cruse offers free confidential support.

When I lost my gorgeous daughter Charlotte, eight years ago, my world crumbled, I was in a very bad place. A few years later, I took the courage to change career, trained and became an accredited counsellor. Since then, I have been training and working for this amazing charity called Cruse Bereavement. I am proudly part of the Surrey North branch and provide advice, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved (children, young people and adults), whenever or however the death occurred. The service is provided by trained, experienced volunteers and is confidential and free.

I am raising money for Cruse Surrey North - Your donation will help people who are struggling with grief, to get the support they need.

Thank you for your support
