Hello and thank you for taking you time into reading this cause. My name is Nathan and I am 20 years old. I am proudly Autistic. I am hoping to raise funds for the National Autistic Society, a charity that means so much to myself and people close to me, as well as thousands across the UK. I know many people on the spectrum, from my brother to some of my best friends, to some of my colleagues in the past and present. The aim of the walk is to help raise awareness of the Charity, and celebrating that Autism is a superpower, not a limitation.

Today (18th April 2026) Myself and my best friend Rhianna took on an 18 mile walk across Rochdale, passing Green-booth Reservoir, Healey Dell, Spring Mill Reservoir, Brown-house Wham Reservoir, Watergrove Reservoir, Hollingwoth Lake, Rochdale Canal before finishing at Rochdale AFC. It was a challenge hit with the weather and many blisters, but after 10 hours, we had completed our walk.

We were hoping to raise £150 for The National Autistic Society, but it is safe to say we smashed that, raising over £400 (Including gift aid) for a charity that means so much to us both. We will fight to our last breath to fight for the greater good for children, young people and adults with SEND and Autism. This for us is only the start.
