Im taking part in this event with my good friend Jonny Tipping to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association Jersey, a cause very close to my heart. Earlier this year, i lost my dad to Motor Neurone Disease, just 18 months after he was diagnosed. MND is a rare and deveastating condition that gradually strips away a persons ability to move, speak, and eventually breathe, yet awareness and understanding of it remain far too limited. Throughout my dad's journey, the MND Association Jersey supported us with vital equipment like a hospital bed, hoist, and recliner chairs, which helped make his final months comfortable and to remain at home. This is my way of giving back and helping ensure other families facing this cruel disease get the support they need. I'm also doing this to shine a light on MND and the immense suffering it causes, in the hope that one day, we'll find a cure.
