I’m fundraising for Velindre Cancer Centre in memory of my dad, John Ford.

Having been receiving treatment for prostate cancer for several years, in September 2025 our lives were turned upside down by the news that dad had been further diagnosed with widespread cancer.

I entered the Devil in the Hills to fundraise for Velindre to help motivate dad through treatment this year and help give back and off set some of his treatment.

Unfortunately, dad passed away at the start of October and I will now be fundraising in his memory.

On the 29th March 2026 I’ll be riding The Devil in the Hills, a 136km route through the Brecon Beacons with 1887m of accent - the equivalent of riding the height of the Empire State Building 4 times!

If you could spare even a couple of quid it would mean the world and allow Velindre to keep giving treatment to those in need.
